What Challenge? #fitmoms4life

The 21 day Mommy Blogger Weight Loss Challenge.

I need to lose weight.
I need to lose at least 100 pounds.

I have joined with several other mom bloggers to do Dustin Maher's Fit Mom's for Life program.
The official start date is February 1st.

I have started with the workout, doing strength training on one day and cardio/core work the next, with a warm up and stretching each day. I will take one day off per week for rest.
So far I have done 2 days of strength and 1 day of cardio/core. I was pretty sore after the first day, but it was definately a good sore. I felt muscles in places that I hadn't worked in awhile!
On top of this, I have challenged myself to not get on the computer until my daily workout is done. My kids know about this and I'm sure they will hold me to it!
I will be blogging as I go along this journey as will several other bloggers.
I will have a link for you shortly, if you are interesting in the program.

Next week, I will post a photo of me taken this past summer as a beginning photo.

Hello Garilyn,
Good for you for doing this! I too am going to do the 21 day challenge am just getting the info. We can encourage each other. Just wanted to apologize for taking so long but your button is now on my sidebar and my community page. I will check back and offer encouragement on your 21 day challenge, here's to positive thinking and getting healthier for both of us.
